We are a community of disciples learning what it means to follow Jesus, we are committed to growing together and learning from each other as we study Gods’ word. The GOLD Family exists to encourage GOLD Project students, leaders and supporters to connect with each other and to further the vision and mission of the GOLD Project.

WHY JOIN US?

As a member of the GOLD family you will

  • Be part of a prayer network supporting our vision for biblical discipleship in the UK church.

  • Connect with others who study and lead GOLD Project groups around the country.

  • Discover opportunities to join or start your own group.

  • Have access to training material on how to lead small groups.

  • Receive news on upcoming events, courses, and study days and find out about discounts and offers on these.

ARE YOU LOOKING TO SERVE?

We are seeking anyone willing to be part of the family who desires to serve and support, here are some examples:

  • If this is a particular area where you feel God uses you, we need constant prayer for our work, the growth, and most importantly the groups, students and leader. We will keep you updated in all these areas.

  • We seek to make our courses available to students at an affordable fee. In order to do this, we need financial support for developing the programme, and because of our sponsors we are able to run our project. For more information, see: https://goldproject.org/giving

  • We are always looking to expand and grow, but we can’t do this on our own. We need leaders who share our vision to see God’s word transform lives. Our GOLD Leaders are key in the effectiveness of our work. As a leader you have the opportunity and privilege of enabling people to grow in as disciples of Jesus. You will not be on your own, we are committed to supporting and provide training for each leader. To find out more about the role of a leader click here.

  • If you are already or have been a GOLD leader in the past, your experience and skill is really precious to us and future leaders, so training and building up those around you to become part of the GOLD Project to lead a group is a massive support.

  • By just telling others about us and sharing your own experiences, being an ambassador of GOLD Project you would be supporting us in a big way.

  • We are a small charity, thus we rely on kind and selfless acts of those skilled in different things such as accounting, video editing, script writing, SEO, (and much more) to share their expertise with us in order to continue running and reaching all those around us.

  • If you have recently taken up a course or willing to take on a course in the future, you are already doing so much for the work of GOLD Project to expand. From time to time we would like to ask our students for their feedback, or experience of the course, which means we may ask if you would like to record a short video clip of yourself, or have your group being filmed as a way for us to further spread the good news and market our courses, you do, of course have the option of not appearing on video.
