WHAT IS DISCIPLESHIP?

Jesus called ordinary people to follow Him. From all walks of life, they followed Jesus around as He travelled from place to place. These earliest followers of Jesus are referred to simply as disciples. Jesus was their teacher and they learnt from Him day by day.

Discipleship is a lifelong process of learning what it means to follow God’s call to be His people and to live as He wants us to in every aspect of our lives.

The objective of the framework of our bible courses are to be simplistic and accessible. It is aimed for all to be able to study the word of God. Each of our courses have four connected elements:

  1. Personal Study

  2. Group Discussion

  3. Practical Application

  4. Assessment

Level 1 Courses

For those who seek to find a deeper understanding on the foundations of God’s word and the Christian Faith. These courses are suited for all levels of prior experience and education.

Level 2 Courses

For those who want to learn what it is to follow Jesus through an in-depth study of His life and ministry. Much like level 1 courses, these are easily accessible and do not require an in depth level of individual study.

Level 3 Courses

Still easily accessible courses even to those with no previous formal qualifications. These courses are great for an introduction into theology, and for those who want to take the study of the Bible further and engage with its meaning for today.

 

Suggested pathways for our courses

This is a suggested pathway that could be followed through our courses, from level 1 to level 3. However, each study group can choose which level to start their own pathway.
