310 Introduction To Church History

Level 3 Course

This course traces the history of the Christian Church from the resurrection to the present.  The course is divided into four parts.

  • the Early Church

  • the Middle Ages

  • the Reformation

  • the Modern Church

The course seeks both to provide you with a factual account of that history, and to introduce you to the ways in which historians have interpreted the facts.  We believe that knowledge of the past gives us a perspective which makes it possible to understand and to deal with present problems in a more balanced fashion; therefore, you will be challenged to make applications to the Modern Church throughout the course.

This is a 10 Block course

Course costs:

£70, or a cost of a light lunch a week
