David Ball is Director of the GOLD Project. David has a PhD in New Testament. From 2009-2015, was Director of Open Learning at Trinity College Bristol out of which the GOLD Project has formed. David and Angie worked for 15 years with TAFTEE (The Association for Theological Education by Extension) in India. David is actively involved in the Christian Motorcyclists’ Association. David believes that the strength of the church's life and witness depends on the equipping of all God's people for mission and ministry in the world. He is committed to enabling every Christian to grow in their faith through disciplined study of the Bible.

Amanda Stewart started working for the GOLD Project in May 2018 as the administrator. She is enjoying the new challenges of this work and loving studying ‘Discover Life’ – one of GOLD's courses. Previous to this she worked full time as a volunteer for the Church, running youth groups, toddler groups, leading and speaking at the family services plus organising events. More recently she has given talks on suffering, bereavement and mental health.  Steve her husband is an ordained minister and they have three children, Shona, Tamsin (in Heaven) and Hetty.

Abigail Taylor has recently joined the team as marketing officer, and feels ‘privileged and thankful’ to be working for a place where God and His word are at the centre of it all. She comes from a media marketing and sales background within the clinical research industry. She is based in Surrey with her husband; Jay, son; Zion Joel, and dog; Teddybear. She grew up in the latin church community where she was active in serving that community, whilst her mum led a Spanish speaking church.

GOLD Leaders
